A lavishly illustrated book, in which this leading wildlife photographer highlights a selection of plants on view at Kew and examines the ways in which they have adapted to cope with the rigours of the natural environment. Many of the plants she describes exhibit unusual structures or designs, and her imaginative photographic studies are particularly illuminating.
